The village is within easy reach from several historical, archeological and natural important places like Mount Etna, Taormina, Noto, Catania, Siracusa, Caltagirone and many others.

The shape of the Arcile Bay resort, in its setting of sub-tropical gardens full of pine trees, palm treef, bouganvillea, hibiscus, cactus and many other different types of trees and hedges, looks more like a corner of Hawaiian Islands.
